Today there is a big Sad News for you that Pitch Curator Mohan Singh dead body is found in his room who curate the pitch for today match between Afghanistan vs New Zealand in Sheikh Zayed Stadium. He was trained as a curator in India at the Punjab Cricket Stadium in Mohali and he came to Abu Dhabi in September 2004.
Mohan Singh, an Abu Dhabi’s chief curator was found dead in his bedroom. The cause of death hasn’t been revealed as of yet, but the local police have opened an investigation. Certain reports also revealed that Mohan allegedly committed suicide.
Mohan Singh the curator of Abu Dhabi cricket stadium died few hours before the ICC T20 World Cup game started between Afg and NZ today. His death reason is still unknown. But due to some prints on his dead body it is believed that his death is suicide but there is not certainty. Management and Police says more investigations are running and death reason will be revealed and showed very sad about this news.
Mohan Singh worked in Mohali India with former BCCI chief Curator Daljit Singh before moving to the UAE in early 2000s. Daljit who has served Indian Cricket Team for about 22 years. He is shocked after hearing such sad news about Mohan Singh's Death. He said,"He was a bight kid when came to me. A very talented and hardworking man. He hailed from Garhwal and also remembered him as a closer family member." He also regretted and said,"After he went to the UAE, he used to come visit every time to meet me but now days he was in country but I Had not seen him for a while. he had left us and Gone very soon and it is very Tragic."
Mohan Singh wanted to prepare the best playing surface in the Abu Dhabi the capital of UAE. In an interview with The National Channel, Mohan Singh said,"I enjoy my work and always try doing my best to provide the best playing surface for any game and have the grounds in the tip-top condition throughout the year." His incredible achievements will be honoured in the coming days. The internatonal Cricket Council also paid tributes to Mohan Singh.
