Today is 16, December! And this date is not just numbers or group of digits. This date forces us to recall the day when sun rose delightfully but set the horizon with utter sadness. Among all good things that had ever happened in Pakistan, there are also occurrences which we wish would have never took place because it becomes so unbearable by just thinking about it. It’s the day when extremists tried to snatch our beautiful future from us, day when they lynched and crushed those beautiful flowers like kids under their guns, day when the dreams of parents were shattered, day when kids were snatched from their mothers laps, day when sisters were got shattered to their core and day when history of Pakistan got a blot on its image which would never get erased!
We all get shattered just by knowing this gruesome fact that the nefarious people made this incident as world's fourth deadliest school massacre by firing openly on school staff and children and also made it one of the horrific days in the history of Pakistan.
It’s been seven years now but the tragedy is still unforgettable and nation remembers the martyrs of Army Public School and those sweet kids will always remain in our hearts.
But we being a great and responsible nation should always ask ourselves on this particular day that what we had done to evade these sorts of tragic incidents and should always be responsible to bring the country out from extreme poverty, inequality and extremism. If we don’t take action, no one will ever and our country will continue to suffer.
In last, we cannot forget the agony of this day and cannot erase the scar on the memory of nation but we remember that we have not wasted the blood of martyrs; we salute them for their courage and braveness and prayed to Almighty that may the world never have to witness a day like this again!
